I’m really thinking that I should get some kind of diet supplements in order to not give into my cravings for a Corn Dog or other junk food that is just going to make me put on the pounds. Its really hard to not just stop in at Safeway and get something from there fried food counter.  With the Wendy’s on the corner and the McDonalds right down the street it is just harder and harder every day to not stop and just cheat a little.

We have been trying to eat healthier of late; we have been doing a weird version of vegetarian eating. We are having more salads and not eating as much meat we are having tofu for the most part with some fish mixed in. We have been doing this for some time but I still want to eat some meat, it’s just calling my name when I go by a fast food place or smell food frying up. Would a Corn Dog really be that bad for me?

I have been looking for a new router I would like to get a “N” Router. I have been looking at some of the Linksys router ‘s that are out there on the market and I have found one that I like. I don’t have the money to get it at the moment since we have been trying to make ends meet and we don’t really want to put anything on our credit cards since a bunch of our friends have had their interest rates shoot through the roof. I don’t see how raising someone’s interest rates is going to help the economy since they will be spending all their spare income on their payments and won’t be able to spend it on anything else.

Well this has been an exciting weekend! Our indoor cat escaped and in the process of getting her back she took a chunk out of my hand. She was under a neighbors deck and I was trying to get her out and a stray cat came by and she was not having any of me trying to pull her out and she started biting me since she does not have any claws to scratch so I have two deep puncture wounds on my left hand and teeth marks on my right hand.

It has been a day and I dont have any red lines running up my arm so that must be a good sign.

I had never heard of the Outer Banks until I was watching the Travel Channel. They where doing a show about North Carolina and how it’s a great place to vacation especially the Outer Banks, I would like to go to Europe as I said in a previous post but I could stay in country if the price was right. I have never really been anywhere east of the Mississippi other than to Florida and Houston so going to the Carolina’s might be kind of fun.

Our Jeep is going to be paid off here at the end of the month and then it will be time to save up a bunch of cash. I’m already looking for travel deals, I would like to be able to purchase some tickets here in just a little bit to go to Europe or Florida or even down to Mexico. It has been a long time since we have traveled anywhere. I was thinking we might take a month long trip and just get out of dodge. I don’t know how I will be able to swing that but I should have three weeks of vacation next year. So maybe I will be able to take one week with out pay.
