I just found out about altnet.com they are a new music service and they are offering a Free 7 Day Trial. From what I can tell about the site they are backed by Atlantic Records, Warner, Def Jam Recordings as well as Sony/BMG plus others. I like those record companies and they have a bunch of the artist that I like. I’m not sure what all they are offering in the Free 7 Day Trial in looking at the Terms & Conditions it looks like the music might have some DRM settings unfortunately I found out about this service at work and we are restricted from installing anything on our work computers. So what that means is I’m going to have to try this service out at home. So it looks like I will be signing up for the Free 7 Day Trial tonight so I can check out the whole service.
